The Insecurity

Claiming "security" or worry about the "insecurity" can mean very different things. Under this term, among other things, it should be concerned about: 

a) the insecurity of the childrens of the street, who clean the windows of cars. 

b) the insecurity of the unemployed people, who lack the minimum resources for the subsistence of themselves and their family.

 c) The Insecurity of people living in informal settlements, deprived of basic services and the corresponding title to the parcels they occupy.

d) The insecurity of the elderly low-income families who are huddled in appalling conditions geriatric with alarming regularity and catching fire, or collapse.

e) The insecurity of the people that eat garbage, or manually manipulate living on the streets or in garbage dumps.

Finally it should also be concerned about the safety of people living in gated communities or country clubs. 

This latter concern is of course legitimate, but there should be no doubt that, socially, insecurity alluded to in the first five points is much more serious than the last-mentioned.
